We are applying for an Outdoor Classroom Garden Mini-Grant, offered by Arkansas Farm Bureau. Our project plan for starting a garden is to provide students with an outside hands-on learning environment. Students will participate in hands-on experiments and activities designed for each core subject. This also provides a therapeutic sanctuary for our students and adults while working on self-regulation and social/communication skills. With the help and support from our community, we can bring a positive experience of agriculture to our classrooms.
