
Concord Elementary Parents/Guardians: We have several unclaimed jackets, sweatshirts, and coats in the elementary hallway. Please check your child's closet to see if they are missing any of these items. We will have these items out in the hallway for students to come by and claim if it belongs to them. Thank you!!

On Friday, Pamila Helms and Ali Cornett competed in FCCLA Region 2 STAR Events. Scores came in tonight, these ladies received the Gold for their Level 3 Hospitality & Tourism Project/Presentation and are eligible to advance to State in the Spring.

Congratulations to Coach Cossey, Coach Cornett and our Senior Girls for winning the White County Central Tournament last night! Our girls beat an undefeated 4A Bald Knob team by a score of 37 to 67. Go Pirates!!! 💜💛

Today our Life Skills class learned a few self-defense maneuvers from our very own Black Belt, Caleb Creasy. We laughed a lot, but we learned a lot too!







November is month of code. Kindergarten through third grade GT classes have learned to code mouse bots over the past few class periods. There may be a future robotics engineer in training!








CHS juniors and seniors attended the Trades on the Lake Career Fair on Friday. Many of our hometown people presented for their places of business. Thank you Jessica from First Electric for inviting us! It was a great day of learning for our students.











Today in honor of Veterans Day, Concord students had the privilege of listening to some of our nation's veterans share their stories of service and sacrifice. We would like to thank not only our speakers, but all of our brave men and women who have sacrificed for our country. We appreciate your service in order to keep our United States "the land of the free and the home of the brave."

Monsters, snacks, and books, Oh My! FACS students were able to add a little extra fun to 2nd grade's Halloween with the felt monster project again this year!! Thank you Mrs. Strain for working with us, and a big thank you to the students that worked so hard creating monsters and monster food!!









The 9th annual GT cardboard boat races were held Friday at Mr. Heath Grant's beautiful lake. Students demonstrated their engineering and design skills as the boats faced off against one another. This year's winners were Beckett Strother and Jack Hegarty.











Juniors and seniors attended a career/college fair at Southside Batesville High School this week. Thank you Southside for the invitation to attend!











Some of our SWAG students celebrated Red Ribbon Week by designing t-shirts and encouraging others to be drug free!

Hi all! After such a spirited Homecoming week, Student Council created theme nights for all Pirate home games! Please join us in dressing up to cheer on some of our favorite teams!!


The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles showed up today to teach 3rd-6th grade!! Way to celebrate Homecoming Spirit Week on Superheroes vs Villains Day! All of our teachers are superheroes everday!!



I love to see the excitement on the faces of my students as they learned about like charges and static electricity in third grade GT this week.



CHS is hosting a food drive for the local food bank - God's Grace Food Pantry. The class that collects the most items by Friday, October 13th wins a $100 prize



In GT over the past few weeks, second grade students made Mrs. Strain a quilt filled with all the things they love. Thank you Mrs. Strain for all that you do! Also, a big thank you to Mrs. Alice Bullard for helping them sew it together!
