The District would like to remind our pirate family we are still adhering to the Arkansas Department of Health COVID guidelines. Rest assured that we will continue to contact families that may be affected by new cases that may arise on campus.
Here are a couple things to keep in mind:
- Notify the school immediately if someone in the household has tested positive for COVID-19. This allows us to effectively carry out contact tracing to determine if other students and/or faculty need to be quarantined.
- Students who have undergone a COVID test can not return to school until the PCR (not rapid testing) results are back and are negative.
I am so excited to announce that our students now have the ability to access a brand new E-Library with hundreds of books at their fingertips. In order to offer this, all K-12th grade books are accessible to our students. As with any technology, please make sure your child is monitored when using this exciting new tool. You may access our E-Library by going to:
1. concordschools.org
2. Click on Menu, then High School and then CHS Library
3. At the top of the page, there will be an E-Library tab, click on that tab.
4. Then click on "Click here to access our E-Library through Follett. "
5. A box will pop up and you will choose Arkansas,
6. Type in Concord - click on Concord High School
7. Username is your child's last name and first initial (no spaces, no caps) Password: Concord
8. Bookmark this page so you won't have to repeat these steps each time! :)

Concord students were able to have our own personal College/Career Fair today. Representatives from 8 colleges came to speak to and answer individual questions from our students. Our students were very impressive today! We are so very proud of all of them!

Attention Concord Pirate Basketball...the games against Midland on Tuesday November 10th have been canceled. However, the Pirates will play at home that night against Rural Special starting at 5 p.m. The Junior Girls and Senior teams will play. Tickets will be handed out Monday. Go Pirates!!

Concord High School hosted our November blood drive for Arkansas Blood Institute. We wanted to say a quick thank you to the 25 donors who took time out of their day to save a life! #webleedpurpleandgold
The Concord School District has been informed of a positive case for Covid-19. The District is following the response protocol set forth by the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Arkansas Department of Health. Close contacts to the positive case were kept minimal, and all contacts have been notified. The District has and will continue to follow the procedures outlined by the Arkansas Department of Health in our dedicated effort to keep our students safe.
