Dear Parents, Concord Public Schools would like address information currently circulating on social media. If you are not currently aware of what is circulating here is a post from the Cleburne County Sherif Chris Brown and our surrounding Chiefs of Police. Attention Cleburne County residents and parents: This post is to address information that has currently been circulating on social media. On August 20, the Little Rock FBI office issued a general awareness statement about information they received relating to possible school shootings in Arkansas and Kentucky. Although the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, Heber Springs Police Department, Quitman Police Department, Conccord Police Department, and Greers Ferry Police Departments are not aware of any specific threats to any school in Cleburne County, please rest assured that we are taking this information seriously. We will be working with the schools through this next week and will take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of the students and staff members. -Sheriff Chris Brown -Chief Brian Haile -Chief Todd Henry -Chief Willie Baker -Chief Teagus Majors Concord Public Schools is not aware of any specific threat involving our school district!
