My name is Cary Cossey. I will be the new 7th-12th Grade girls basketball coach. My wife, Teri, is teaching 3rd-4th Grade Literacy. Our children are Grant and Ashlyn. I have been coaching for 20 years and am excited to be back in this area. I graduated from Bradford High School and earned my Associate's Degree from ASU Beebe and my Bachelor's Degree from UCA.

My name is shelbi Ray. I am 24 years old. I grew up in kensett Ar, where I attended Riverview School District and graduated in 2013. I attended Ozarka college this past year and earned my certificate for my CDA in early childhood education. My husband and I have been married for 4 years and have two beautiful children, Libbie (6) and Barrett (3). We moved to concord 3 years ago and I have been working at the school as a sub in the lunch room, preschool, and daycare for the last 2 years. I can't say enough how excited I am to become an employee of the Concord School District working in the lunchroom and to become a pirate! I have already made life long friends here and I love our little school and town! Go Pirates!


My name is Cody York, and I am so excited to be coming home to teach 3rd and 4th grade science! I graduated from Concord in 2002. I worked in industry for several years until returning to college to finish my degree, graduating from Lyon College in 2016. I've worked for the past two years at Midland School District, teaching high school social studies my first year and 5th and 6th grade science this past year. My wife, Rachel, and I just celebrated our thirteenth wedding anniversary in May. We have three children that attend Concord Elementary and Concord ABC: Jaxon is going into 4th grade, Chloe into 2nd grade, and Tyce into the 2-3 year old class.

First off I want to say how excited we are to be a part of the Concord family and I cannot wait to serve each and everyone of you! I truly believe education is a calling and working with all school personnel as well as your children is a great privilege and honor. I have been blessed to work with some amazing educators from small schools to the largest schools in Arkansas. I’ve spent time in Wynne, Corning, Cedarville, Rogers, and West Memphis as a teacher, assistant coach, head football coach, Athletic Director, and Academy Principal. I also earned my Bachelors in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas @ Little Rock, Masters In Leadership from Arkansas State University, Educational Specialist in Leadership from Walden University, and Educational Doctorate In Leadership from Walden University. I am married to an amazing wife and mother of 6, Cassie. Our children are Shelby (12), Kasen (9), Haven (8), Harrison (7), Preslee (6), and Hayes (5). Looking forward to being a Pirate!!

My name is Tyler Lewis, I am the new Agriculture teacher at Concord High School. I am a 2011 graduate from Calico Rock, AR. I attended Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, MO transferred to Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR on a rodeo scholarship, then finished my bachelor’s degree at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. My wife, Savannah and I have been married for two and a half years and we have a 9 month old little boy, Rozen. We are very excited to start this new journey and to be apart of the Concord Pirates!


My name is Travis Fletcher, and I am a native of Paragould, Arkansas. I am a graduate of Harding University where I received a degree in history and secondary education. I continued my education and received my masters degree in educational leadership from Arkansas State University. I have spent the past 13 years as an educator with the Farmington School District. I bring with me my wife of 11 years Erin and our 4 year old daughter Remington. I am excited to be the principal at Concord Elementary. I believe positive relationships are the key to learning and growing. I look forward to creating positive relationships with Concord students, families and teachers.

My name is Kylee Mosley! I am going to be the new second grade teacher at Concord Elementary School. I attended Bauxite High School and graduated in 2014. After graduating I attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello where I earned a degree in Early Childhood Education in December! My husband and I have been married for 2 years and currently live in Bearden, Arkansas. We are relocating to the area this summer and are very excited for what the future holds for us!

The Senior Walk through the Elementary is so bittersweet. Of course, we wish these seniors the best of luck in whatever they do, but you all will be missed! Best of luck Class of 2019!!

Headed to the state semifinals tomorrow in Taylor, Arkansas. Rematch of last year’s state final game. Concord vs. Taylor at 2:30. Go Lady Pirates!!! 💜💛


Congratulations to our Softball Lady Pirates for being District and Regional Champions. Also congrats on a big win today in round 1 of the state tournament (16-1 over Bradley). Everyone take the short (4and a half hour) drive out to Taylor tomorrow to support them in round 2 at 5:30. 😉 Go Lady Pirates!! 💜💛



Athletic physicals will be completed this Wednesday at school for all 6-11th grade students. Forms must be completed by Wednesday to have the free physical completed at school. Extra forms are available for pickup in the office.

Thanks to everyone who made the GT 5K, Color Run, and egg hunt a successful day full of events. It takes a village!!!
